Live-In Faith-Based House Leader Team

Job Summary

This is a unique live-in ministry opportunity for a spiritually mature and dedicated couple to serve as House Leaders. You will be called to share your home and your faith, creating a Christ-centered household for individuals learning to live independently. Your primary role is to foster a family-style environment of discipleship and growth, living alongside residents to model a life of faith, integrity, and service. This position is ideal for a couple with a heart for hospitality and mentorship, who feel called to use their home as a place of ministry.

Key Responsibilities

• Spiritual Leadership & Discipleship:

  • By living on-site, you will naturally integrate faith into daily life, leading organic discussions, daily devotionals, and regular Bible studies.

  • Cultivate a prayer-filled home, ministering to residents through consistent prayer and spiritual guidance.

  • Organize and lead weekly in-home worship or coordinate attendance at a local partner church.

  • Disciple residents, helping them grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ through shared life experiences.

• Resident Support & Mentorship:

  • Living alongside residents, you'll serve as their primary mentors, offering support and biblically-based counsel in real-time.

  • Model a healthy, Christ-centered marriage and demonstrate biblical principles of conflict resolution in daily interactions.

  • Foster a strong sense of community, belonging, and mutual respect within the home.

• Life Skills & Household Management:

  • Use everyday opportunities (like cooking, cleaning, and budgeting) as hands-on teaching moments for life skills, grounded in principles of good stewardship.

  • As leaders of the household, you will jointly oversee the home's maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.

  • Manage the household budget for groceries and supplies with integrity.

• Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain records of resident progress, prayer requests, and household needs.

  • Collaborate with case managers and other ministry staff to ensure holistic care for residents.

  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, and prayer gatherings as required.

Compensation & Live-In Accommodations

This is a comprehensive live-in package that includes:

• Private Residence: A fully-furnished, private apartment or suite on-site, complete with its own entrance, kitchen, and living space.

• All-Inclusive Utilities: All housing costs, including electricity, water, internet, and cable, are covered.

• Stipend: A monthly ministry stipend is provided.

• Household Budget: A budget for all home groceries and supplies is included.

Qualifications and Skills

• Faith & Character:

  • A deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and full agreement with our organization's Statement of Faith.

  • Demonstrated spiritual maturity, a consistent prayer life, and a strong knowledge of Scripture.

  • A clear calling to a residential, hospitality-focused ministry.

• Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in leading small groups, Bible studies, or discipleship is required.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to maintain healthy professional boundaries while living on-site.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to model a healthy, Christ-centered marriage.

• Requirements:

  • Both partners must pass a comprehensive background check and provide pastoral references.

  • At least one partner must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
