It is a Heart Condition…
"Do you have space to offer someone in need? We believe God is preparing a special couple or team for this unique ministry. Stepping into this role means far more than volunteering; it means becoming family, mentors, and spiritual guides to precious lives. While the calling is great, you won't be doing it alone—you will be fully backed by the administrative support and resources that Monarch provides through our community network. We are looking for individuals whose character and calling naturally align with our mission—people of profound integrity, servant leadership, and a passion for discipleship. If you have a wholehearted dedication to fostering a safe, Christ-centered home where lives are genuinely transformed, we would love to connect with you."

Role Overview This is a unique ministry opportunity for a spiritually mature and dedicated couple to serve as Guardian Home Leaders by opening their own home. In this role, you are called to share your space and your faith, cultivating a Christ-centered household for individuals transitioning into independent living. Your primary mission is to foster a family-style environment of discipleship, modeling a life of faith, integrity, and service. This position is ideal for a couple with a heart for hospitality and mentorship who feel called to transform their personal home into a place of active ministry.
Key Responsibilities
Spiritual Leadership & Discipleship: Naturally integrate faith into daily life by leading organic discussions, devotions, and regular Bible studies. Cultivate a prayer-filled home, providing consistent spiritual guidance, and organize weekly in-home worship (or coordinate local partner church attendance).
Resident Support & Mentorship: Serve as primary, real-time mentors by living alongside residents. Offer biblically-based counsel, model a healthy, Christ-centered marriage, and demonstrate biblical conflict resolution to foster a strong community of mutual respect.
Life Skills & Household Management: Transform everyday tasks—like cooking, cleaning, and budgeting—into hands-on teaching moments grounded in good stewardship. Because self-sufficiency is a core pillar of our program, you will help cultivate and oversee an environment where every person in the home supports themselves through micro-enterprises or full-time work.
Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of resident progress, household needs, and prayer requests. Collaborate with case managers and Monarch's ministry staff to ensure holistic care, and attend required staff meetings and trainings.
The Home-Sharing Model & Support Monarch Safe Haven does not operate centralized residential facilities; instead, this program is sustained by those who generously open their homes.
Financial Structure: Residents are responsible for paying for their living space, which ensures that the costs associated with hosting them in your home are covered.
Monarch Network Support: While you provide the home and mentorship, you are never alone. Monarch provides robust administrative backing, professional case management, and community resources to ensure your household thrives.
Qualifications & Requirements
Faith & Character: A deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, full agreement with our Statement of Faith, and a clear calling to hospitality-focused ministry.
Experience & Skills: Prior experience leading small groups or discipleship. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain healthy boundaries in a shared-living environment.
Requirements: Both partners must pass a comprehensive background check and provide pastoral references. At least one partner must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
If you are a couple called to open your hearts and home to ministry, we invite you to apply. This is a unique opportunity to live out your faith in a tangible way, impacting lives for eternity right from the comfort of your own home.
